Unlike District 12 in the Hunger Games, District 13 in Medellin is a lively and colorful place.
Unlike its past reputation of being violent and dangerous, that Sunday afternoon, District 13 presented us a local neighborhood with music, motor cycle washing, and warmhearted people.
That's it! One of the six covered escalators rising 400 meters up a very steep residential neighborhood. About 2000 people are benefited from them.
This is one of the many graffiti-es around the neighborhood. Our Laughing Cat was very excited to meet someone of her own size.
and Look, what happened when a Cat saw a Slide?
Walking up to a small hill, a Panorama view and cooling breeze are our best rewards.
About the warmhearted people
My flip-flop broke and a lady offered to give me hers for free. I can't remember for how many times I've been impressed by the generosity and helpfulness of people. This time again, my heart was warmed by her act. I accepted her flip-flop and gave her the Lulu Cat to show my appreciation. Wholesome qualities of the heart are precious.
And that was how the Magic Mango creatures found their first new family. :)
